You sunk my battleship!
June 30, 2008I just got smoked playing my first game of Sea Wars, the online version of the popular 80s classic, Battleship, to some guy named Mauro. I’m not counting my 1st first game of Sea Wars which ended abruptly when my opponent forfeited after firing two missing shots at my board. I’m either that intimidating or his mom called him down for dinner.
Sea Wars sets you up for battle with a live opponent and has a great interface that includes the ability for players to IM each other during the matchup – PURRRfect for trash talking while blowing torpedoes at each other. They could probably increase plays if they offered a quick version for ADD types and those of us with only 5 minutes between meetings to blow off steam…
